As well as generating its own power supply, running it's own housing and arranging it's own social security Carrongrove papermill also ran its own fire service.
I would think that the buildings behind are now from the left the Omar Kyham , used to be sylvesters and the Lion & Dragon pub
probably now a coffee shop the "new" building I will show you pics is to be pulled down
The company Office of the Papermill Lock on the Navigation canal. Trying out my new 24-85 nikkor lens, and i am very chuffed with it :-)
