Interesting that the demolition van is parked exactly where the mill managers model T ford was park all those years ago.
This perhaps the first time this building has been visible from this spot since it was competed in 1862 by Andrew Duncan who is also shown as leasing Herbershire paper company in 1834. I have been told that there was a duck pond in the foreground
where the coating factory was later built.
The Jaite Paper Company was founded on September 18, 1905, along the Cuyahoga, adjacent to the Ohio and Erie Canal, Brandywine Creek, and a short distance from a railway line running between Cleveland and Akron. This bridge is where the rail siding for the mill crossed the Cuyahoga. The National Park Service demolished the paper mill in 2006.

Tried a little silkier look. You can see the grafitti on this bridge, but it's so colorful that I kind of like it here. Hope no one views it large and finds something that shouldn't be on a family site like flickr!
