Book artist and papermaker Mandy Brannan joined us once again to show us the creative possibilities of combining two papermaking techniques; traditional style Japanese papermaking and recycled papermaking.

Third year student Trisha Martin places reeds between two sheets of translucent paper. Once dry the tension of the paper will curl the reeds creating three dimensional paper objects.

We spent a day at the Elephant Conservation Center where they taught us how to ride elephants, put on a parade and show, and showed us how they make paper from elephant dung.
