This is some birds of paradise that I blended sometime last year, and froze in the freezer. I finally got to making it about a month ago. I bleached it, so that it would be more versatile in use. I found that beautiful japanese paper you see underneath it from a small store in San Francisco.

Book artist and papermaker Mandy Brannan joined us once again to show us the creative possibilities of combining two papermaking techniques; traditional style Japanese papermaking and recycled papermaking.

This really made for lots of laughter! Sophi mixed a cellulite gel (like wallpaper goop) into her moist paper pulp. She made some nice balls and forms and decorated them with glitter.
