Double oil fired radiant boiler with 139 atü (built by Steinmüller 1965) - Abandoned power plant for a former paper mill.
In a room beneath the Steinmüller cyklon boiler there are some nice machines, which are - I guess - high pressure pumps or compressors.

This is an HDR image from an old paper factory in Thuringia. I love this really great hall - even without any of the old machines.
This HDR shot was processed from 5 different exposures.
Dieses HDR habe ich in einer alten Papierfabrik in Thüringen aufgenommen. Ich mag diesen riesigen leeren Raum, in dem früher die Streicherei der Papierfabrik war.
Dieses HDR ist aus 5 unterschiedlichen Belichtungen zusammengesetzt.
While this may look like a botanical print, it's actually a close-up of leaves in a piece of handmade paper I brought home from Thailand last year. As part of a group craft at a paper factory, we placed local leaves and flowers in a slurry of wood cellulose and pulp which then was left to dry in special frames. A few days later, our custom handmade paper was sent ahead to our hotel in Chiang Mai. Tonight I unwrapped mine and hung it over a lampshade so it was lit from behind. One photo a day.
