Monastral blue is alternate name for Phthalocyanine Blue BN. A synthetic blue pigment used in paints and dyes.
I made this for my bedroom. I wanted to do something with flowers and had been playing with the idea in my head. I have a few duvets that I love, embroidered silks, and one is a blue themed one and I wanted to carry that through on the walls.
It's quite big: 9" x 9". I wanted to do one slightly bigger, but didn't have my A2 pad with me at the time.
