This was going to be just another attempt at remembering how to fold this model and that's why I chose this ordinary paper, but I was able to do it from start to end.
Folded from a square of colored copy paper of 20 cm on the side.
great model, highly recommended. This is my first attempt and i am thinking of folding it from other types of papers too ^^
I used to spend hours every Holiday season making paper snowflakes. I had just about as much fun creating these for this photo as well. Love the shadows and the snips where the scissors went too far. Macro Mondays: Just White Paper. HMM! For 117 pictures in 2017: no. 11 Childish Delights.

Interesting model. Folded from the CP at m.flickr.com/#/photos/125337805@N04/23696615721/ out of a hexagon cut off of a 20 cm on the side square of Curious paper.
Seeing as Spring seems to be in full swing -- how about a dash of color to go along with it? Well this Paper wasp didn't disappoint, bumped into it taking a quick afternoon power nap along the forest trail... Didn't pay any mind to me snapping away. 😌 (#Polistes ?)

went shopping today, discovered that we have an urban outfitters like a week ago! I bought this dress, two sweaters, and a really cute top that was originally 50 dollars but marked it down to 9.99 for no apparent reason, made my day =)
Ha ha. Anyways the internet also went down hence the late title/despcription so apologies.

For this week's Macro Monday theme of "white on white", I used strips of white paper photographed on another sheet of white paper. I tried photographing curls and spirals but wasn't that happy with the results apart from one or two. So most of my photos were of a strip gently folded to form loops about 1 cm high, stuck to the other sheet with double sided tape, and using a light to throw shadows. My first attempts used a bright white LED torch and the photos came out very blue - not really what I was looking for in terms of the theme but interesting nevertheless. So I tried again with a halogen light source and that was better. I played around with clarity and contrast and must admit I like the darker, higher contrast images this produced, but was worried they wouldn't be quite right for the theme. So I did a few with less contrast and clarity, which gives a gentler, softer image.
Today, my Paper White Narcissus bulbs bloomed, a sweet breath of live in the midst of winter! The three bulbs had been a gift from a very considerate student. Thank you, J.W.; the flowers both look & smell wonderful! I put up three pictures, because I couldn't choose between them & felt we all probably need a hint of Spring! Paper whites (Narcissus papyraceus, a sub-species of Narcissus tazetta) are popular indoor plants for winter and the holiday season. Unlike other narcissus, paper whites don't require a chilling period, so forcing them is as easy as putting the bulbs in water and waiting. The fragrant flowers bloom within about 3 weeks of planting, for almost instant gratification.
I've first seen this corrugation authored fresh by someone at facebook. I decided that I want to fold it after reverse-engineering. Later I found that I already had the same corrugation in my own favs at flickr! (I think you can find there everything now). And of course I completely forgot about it

Over the years this particular unit hid from me every time I visited Nekoosa. The other Alco's that patrolled the mill yard were always popping into view in great sun but no such luck with this lone C415. This is about the best I ever did with it.
