A lemniscate looks much like a figure 8, here the figure 8 is in 3D.Two sheets of paper,one under the other,.were used. The parametric equations used were

x = 8*cos(t)/(1+sin(t)*sin(t)) and y = 8*sin(t)*cos(t)/(1+sin(t)*sin(t)).

To place the eight parts of the lemniscate let T be the top sheet of paper, L the lower sheet, F the front of the picture, B the back of the picture, U the object above the paper, and D the object below the paper. Going from left to right for four boxes and then back four boxes right to left the order is:

TFU, TBU, TBD, TFD, LBU, LFU, LFD, LDB, not quite a Gray code.

This adorable image from the Paper Smooches Knick Knack stamp set is completely paper pieced. I stamped the whole image onto a base layer, then added all the pieced images on top. Everything was fussy cut, and I love doing it! Sentiment is from the Paper Smooches Word Salad set, and all other supplies from Stampin Up! Thank you for having a look!
