A friend of mine tagged me for a "25 Random Things About Me" meme on Facebook. I posted my note there, but I thought it would be good to do a kind of photo essay on flickr.

I don't think I'll take a photo for everything on my list...maybe I'll pick out 7 things to make the meme a theme for this week.

Number one on my list is this: I deal with depression, anxiety, and panic attacks on a daily basis. I take medication, but it doesn't always help.

While cleaning out the garage today, my husband yelled to me to get a Tupperware... I knew that wasn't a good sign.

I cannot believe this thing was hanging out in the garage. I HATE spiders. I think I almost had a panic attack taking this picture. You can tell because I shot it at ISO 1250 in the daylight. :) Mr. Spider now lives in the cornfield across the street.

This recent photo is the beginning of a series I would like to accomplish.

With this photo I would like to reproduce what happens when it happens to have panic attacks.

Photography is self-portrait, the hand from above, which would be my shadow, is purple, a color that expresses anxiety (obviously created in post production)

The shot took place in the evening using long times while a light from below illuminated the face.

For this photo I used an optic 18-135 and a Fujifilm XT-1 machine.

Panic attacks are common among those who face difficulty in controlling their behavior, become hyperactive and get impulsive even at small things. For such people, it is advisable to take psychic treatment for panic attacks as it helps in regularizing behavior of the patient.
