Today was awful. I frankly think that's the only way to put it-- nicely anyhow. I'm not going into detail, but I saw someone's true colors shine through and they were murky and brackish. Jordan and I did waste time doing nothing but going to record stores, walking through her neighborhood and gorging on chocolate milkshakes and hot dogs. But now I have to write. You can view what I'm working on here. There are outtakes from two pieces that will be in the collection of stories in verse I'm writing. They should be finished soon, along with query letters. I have a feeling things will get better. At least I didn't have a panic attack today. Almost, not quite. The only place to go is up.

While cleaning out the garage today, my husband yelled to me to get a Tupperware... I knew that wasn't a good sign.

I cannot believe this thing was hanging out in the garage. I HATE spiders. I think I almost had a panic attack taking this picture. You can tell because I shot it at ISO 1250 in the daylight. :) Mr. Spider now lives in the cornfield across the street.
