Using my Wacom Graphire, Photoshop and vector paths to ask a semi involved technical question to a graduate student in my new lab.
This is the only photo of us moving it: all 1800lbs, after nearly 6 hours to get it out of the truck and into the elevator to our studio (!)
This little guy is allowed to run loose inside the rainforest building at the Tulsa Zoo. I'm not sure what he is, but he wasn't shy at all. He let Caleb stand right next to him and let me take lots of pictures.

Fake Palindrome.
It looks like it could be read the same way forwards and backwards, but it cannot. So close! So Close!
Well, it's a cabbage. I hit the garden since it's spring here, and most 11.11.11 shots are likely to be northern hemisphere. I like the light and the shapes.
Micro-Processor fitted Ratlam WDM3A #16161 PALINDROME chugs out of Vasai Road with ASR-KCVL Express.
This is what happened when I started the reversible cabled Palindrome Hat, only to decide to cross cables whenever I felt like it. I came up with a lovely pattern, actually, but decided I had a better idea: Work the palindrome scarf pattern in a tube, but then near the end, work a row of eyelets, then a few more rows, then bind off. Make a drawstring, and bingo: Cowl/hat convertible awesomeness.
I have since frogged this and completed my idea, and let me tell you, it is definitely awesome. (okay so I finished it like right before going to bed last night, so I don't have pics yet, so sorry for the evidence-less bragging!) Also, sorry for the crappy pics of this version; it was the middle of the night, I had insomnia, and wanted to capture what I'd done before frogging it.
