In addition to being a fantastic palindrome, Glenelg is Adelaide's most famous seaside locality, only 20 minutes from the CBD and five minutes from the airport. The Skyline ferris wheel is next to the beach, while the jetty was built in 1969, replacing an older structure that was destroyed in an earlier storm in Holdfast Bay. So here we have My Gym though I must confess I have never used it, it all looks too much like the tools of torture for me. This is a free to use outdoor gym just a few minutes walk from my house, it was taken on a grey morning and is a panorama made by stitching together 7 shots.
Well, at least I didn't know until I saw this in the newspaper.

I used a photo of a sunset I took from my hotel in London for the painting. It took a few coats and a number of glazes and patience for drying to merge the colours of the sky in order to avoid yellow meeting blue and ending up with green.
