Pak Tai Temple (Northern King Temple)(北帝廟), constructed by local residents in 1863, houses a magnificent three-metre copper image of Pak Tai (Northern King)(北帝) (the main God worshipped in the temple) . Other Gods worshipped include Kwun Yum (觀音), Lui Jo (呂祖), Lung Mo (龍母) and Bao Zheng (包公).

I wasn't going to visit these, but a nice retired Belgian couple invited us on their private boat from Nong Khiaw to Luang Prabang and part of the itinerary was to visit these caves.
