Pak Mito poses for my camera. He is photographed behind his tiny kiosk across the Setia Pradja market. He fixes watches and has been here as long as he can remember. Nice guy and very helpful. He was willing to tell me the history about this place.

Near Pak Ou (mouth of the Ou river) the Tham Ting (lower cave) and the Tham Theung (upper cave) are caves overlooking the Mekong River, 25 km to the north of Luang Prabang, Laos. They are a group of two caves on the west side of the Mekong river, about two hours upstream from the centre of Luang Prabang, and have become well known by tourists.
The caves are noted for their miniature Buddha sculptures. Hundreds of very small and mostly damaged wooden Buddhist figures are laid out over the wall shelves. They take many different positions, including meditation, teaching, peace, rain, and reclining (nirvana).

Bangsbo Fort Bunkermuseum at Frederikshavn in Denmark on March 31, 2018. World War II German 7,5 cm Panzerabwehrkanone 40M in Lafette Marine (LM) 39/43. This is a standard 7,5 cm Pak 40 anti-tank gun, combined with a naval pedestal mounting and a 10 mm Schutzschild. The resulting weapon was used on smaller ships in the Kriegsmarine and later in the war as a light coastal defence gun . The pedestal was turntable-mounted with a 360 degrees traverse, making it possible to engage targets both at sea and on land. The German naval coastal artillery (Marineartillerie) were allocated at total of 15 batteries with four cannons in each, in Denmark from the summer of 1944. All of these except one at MKB Sønderby, were established - or were in the process of being established -at the end of the war. (Source: Kystartilleri i Danmark 1940-45 by MuseumsCenter Hanstholm 2003). A total of 23.023 Pak 40 guns were produced by Rheinmetall-Borsig from 1942 to 1945 and used in a number of different roles.
