I started playing paintball in 1983; was an avid player back then playing most weekends in Texas. Shortly thereafter I discovered Airsoft while in Japan (in 1989), and have been playing Airsoft regularly since then (23 years of that being in Japan).
Picture of Austin playing Paintball for the first time today (having started with Airsoft last year; thus going backwards to my experience ;-)
He liked it but hands-down prefers Airsoft over Paintball.
