Our home beach in Sri Lanka - Mawella Beach - has many faces, depending on the time of day, light and weather. If the theme is "Paint it Black!", Mawella Beach can also be painted black.
Eigentlich bin ich kein Stones Fan, mag dieses Lied aber. Nicht nur weil es als im Film "Full metal Jacket" lief, sondern noch viel mehr, weil es in dem Film "Im Auftrag des Teufels" im Abspann lief. Der Film ist einfach genial.

Easy Road Trail in Occoquan Bay National Wildlife Refuge in Black and White. A flat crushed gravel road for bicycles and pedestrians. It's only half mile long. Photography is painting with light. You can use the 'light' in many ways. The great thing about shooting into the light is that you can achieve nice silhouettes. These two Mallards were swimming on the lake in the early morning light which created the perfect opportunity to 'paint them black'.
