Shanghai's Pudong International Airport was reminding visitors it was Chinese New Year and pig centric.
Pudong International Airport opened in 1999 taking over the majority of international traffic from Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport.
Construction of the first phase of the new Shanghai Pudong International Airport began in October 1997, took two years to build.
The airport is 30 km (19 miles) east of Shanghai city centre. PVG has capacity to handle 80 million passengers annually.
Pudong has two terminals, 1 & 2, five runways and a satellite concourse with 83 gates.
PVG is the worlds 9th busiest airport by passenger volume.

Der ehemalige PVG-Bus 308, hier schon von der Uetersener Eisenbahn steht am 2. November 1993 auf dem ZOB am Bahnhof der S-Bahn in Wedel als Linie 189 zum Elbe-Einkaufszentrum.

er PVG-Bus 400 (Pinneberger Verkehrsgesellschaft) mit dem amtlichen Kennzeichen PI KA 400 auf der Linie 286 nach Falkenstein am Bahnhof Hamburg-Othmarschen im Jahr 1986 oder 1987. Bei dem Bus handelt es sich um einem MB O 405 mit dem Baujahr 1985, der Bus war bis 1999 bei der PVG im Einsatz. Dies war der erste O 405 bei der PVG. Sehr schön im Bild zu sehen ist der Haltestellenmast mit der großen Aufschrift HHA für Hamburger Hochbahn, viel kleiner steht oben S-Bahn Othmarschen und unten die Buslinie 286 und noch weiter unten die Tarifzone.
