You'll have to bare with me...I have so many shots of them I want to share...and I just can't resist that dreamy purple!
This was from earlier in the spring, one of my first crocus patches. It was in the morning when everything was still dewy, and the sun just starting to shine. Please view large ;-)

McKee Botanical Garden will host its 12th Annual Waterlily Celebration on June 18, 2016, from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm. The event will kick off the Garden's waterlily blooming season which continues throughout the summer, and is one of our most popular attractions. Admission is $10 Adults, $9 Seniors and $5 Children. Members are FREE.
Located on a tropical hammock at the southern gateway to Vero Beach, Florida, McKee Botanical Garden is where native plants and exotic botanicals combine with Old Florida charm.
A striking group of vivid purple flowers, which I believe are echinaceas,although I have never seen them this colour, perhaps someone can confirm their identification.
Standing amidst these endless rows of purple, the air filled with the scent of Lavender, waiting for this very short period of time when the sun is just above the horizon to illuminate the tips of the rows, giving depth and contrast to this stunningly beautiful place is actually not the worst way to kick off a day in the Provence.
My very first crocuses I've have grown from bulbs. For people who know me it's a bit of a surprise, me growing flowers. I used to be such a city girl, but now I find a pleasure in doing different things ;)
