So there were a couple shots of this. I was really loving the shot and then I, for the hell of it, flipped it to the other side. It made all the difference and I love when that happens. There is something so intimate in this, I think, it was the stand out in the collection. Casper always has such nice compositional ideas which made working within it such a great experience. The whole idea of Cupid and Psyche is so romantic and lovely. I am really proud of this one.

หนอนที่มากินใบผักกวางตุ้ง จนเจริญวัยกลายเป็นดักแด้ และออกจากดักแด้กลายมาเป็นผีเสื้อขาวแคระ มีชื่อสามัญว่า Psyche (ไซคี)..มีหนอนผีเสื้อหลายตัวเลยมากินใบกวางตุ้งที่ปลูกเอาไว้

หนอนตัวนี้กำลังชักใย เริ่มต้นเข้าสู่ระยะดักแด้ มันเลือกที่บริเวณก้านของกวางตุ้งเป็นที่เข้าดักแด้ มันขยับตัวขยุกขยิกเบาๆไปมา การเปลี่ยนแปลงค่อยๆเป็นไปอย่างช้าๆ

ห่างไปอีกเพียงสองชั่วโมงเท่านั้น เจ้าผีเสื้อที่อยู่ในรูปร่างของดักแด้ ก็ได้ออกมาเป็นตัวผีเสื้อเกาะอยู่ภายนอกคราบดักแด้ซะแล้ว เกาะห้อยอยู่ที่คราบนั้นนิ่ง ไม่ขยับเขยื้อนไปไหน เป็นผีเสื้อตัวเล็กนิดเดียว

ผีเสื้อออกมาจากคราบดักแด้ ผีเสื้อจะเกาะนิ่งอยู่ที่คราบดักแด้ไม่ขยับเขยื้อนไปไหน บางจังหวะผีเสื้อจะขับถ่ายของเสียออกมาเป็นหยดน้ำสีเหลืองอ่อนๆ เพราะช่วงที่เป็นดักแด้เขาจะไม่ได้ขับถ่ายอะไรเลย

Amor and Psyche is a marble neoclassical statue by the Italian sculptor Antonio Canova. He started work on the statue in 1787 but did not complete it until 1793.

The image shows Cupid (Amor) just after he has kissed Psyche awake. This is a scene from The Golden Ass (Metamorphoses) by the Latin writer Lucius Apuleius Madaurensis.

It is one of six sculptures that Canova made about the legend of Amor and Psyche. The statue now stands in the Louvre in Paris. Canova made a second version in 1796 and it is in the Hermitage in St. Petersburg
