We had our first ever tornado alert yesterday that suggested we take cover immediately. It turned out that the threat was farther north and our city didn’t even get any rain. However, severe thunderstorms remained in the forecast and woke Rusty up in the middle of the night. We’ve had record amounts of rain this summer but it’s also been one of the hottest on record, sparking lots of unsettled weather. It’s hard to tell how gorgeous the full moon was at 4:10am, but the word majestic comes to mind.

This was the first bridge built to cross the River Severn in 1966...This is a toll bridge that allows pedal bikes and walkers through for free...again one to revisit in the future but get down to a better angle.
