Gray Whale (Eschrichtius robustus).
Here you can see the double blowhole and some of the encrusted barnacles. The yellow areas are parasites, which can leave white scars as they drop off in colder waters.

A Purrfect Portrait
Along A1A near MarineLand / Matanzas Inlet is this line of fence, which protects the dunes. Captured with ClassicPan, painted with Artista Oil, Blender used to combine the original and painted images, then used to blend with a background texture. Then the image was cropped with PS Express.

First off I want to thank @computerjones for asking me for a pic. Totally made my day!
The Mobile Artistry gallery is full of amazing shots & edits. Seriously talented folks and I gotta admit I felt intimidated and almost backed out. I braved on and went with a car pic because classic cars are my favorite thing to shoot. I've had a love affair with the classics ever since I was little.
During the summer I get my fix of classic cars & trucks at car shows. What caught my eye on this Ford was the V8 hood ornament. I took several shots of the V8 at different angles but decided to go with the straight on shot for the Mobile Artistry gallery.
I usually shoot with #Hipstamatic and for this shot I used the #LucasAB2 lens & #BlacKeysSuperGrain film. My editing steps were: (1) edited with the #PSExpress app (2) Distort & Sphere effect (3) Overlay tile & Sparkle effect. Then I used the #Snapseed app to crop the border (4) Center & Focus, foggy effect 25%. Thank you again Mobile Artistry!!

antitheist82: absolutely divine tomie. you are the artist i immediately think of when viewing " car porn " ( a term consequently learned from you ) and it goes without saying i'm a huge fan of your work, only because i have told you well more than once. but what i may have neglected to mention is that you were ( & remain to be now ) one of my earliest influences as a photographer. although i still have much to learn i can say that you and the select few i chose to open up to showed me a whole new perspective. i started looking at things differently and it changed my life. thank you for all your support, then and now, and i couldn't think of a more sincere and deserving artist to feature. stay behind that lens and keep doing you, like i know you shall...wade.
