This LEGO still, a parody of the Namco published Katamari Damacy, took about 30 minutes to build but over 4 hours to photograph. It can be tricky to caputre a look of terror on the eternal smiling face of a LEGO mini-fig.

Les deux premiers TGV-M de présérie; sont en cours d'essais depuis quelques mois. L'un d'eux se trouve à Velim, en République tchèque, et l'autre a commencé ses essais en France fin juin 2023, d'abord en Bretagne sous 25 KV (essais de shuntage) puis sur des lignes électrifiées en 1500 V continu au sud-est et au sud de Paris. Ces premiers tests sur le réseau français se déroulent à des vitesses allant jusqu'à 200 km/h sur des lignes standard. La photo montre le TGVM n°997, c'est-à-dire la PS2 (rame de pré-série n°2) à 200 km/h sous caténaire 1500 V entre Orléans et Vierzon. Malgré la météo pluvieuse, le TGV-M a la chance de bénéficier d'un rare rayon de soleil.
Pour mémoire, cette section de ligne entre les Aubrais et Vierzon a été la première ligne SNCF où des trains de voyageurs ont circulé à 200 km/h en service commercial, à partir du 28 mai 1967. C'était avec "Le Capitole" reliant Paris (gare d'Austerlitz) à Toulouse. Le Capitole est devenu un TEE (Trans Europ Express) en septembre 1970. Les TEE étaient des trains d'exception, les plus rapides, première classe uniquement, avec supplément TEE.

The first two "pre-series" TGV-M are now undergoing tests. One unit is in Velim in Czechia and the other one has now started tests in France. These first tests on the French network are going on at speeds up to 200 kph on standard lines. The picture shows TGVM #997 at 200 kph under 1.5 KV catenary between Orléans and Vierzon, at La Ferté Saint Aubin.
For the record, this Orléans to Vierzon section was the first line where passenger trains ran at 200 kph in France. This started on May 28 1967, with a train called "Le Capitole", going from Paris (Austerlitz station) to Toulouse. Le Capitole became a TEE (Trans Europ Express) in September 1970, a crack train with first class only seats.

Here are five of the fourteen strong batch of Leyland PS2/14 's built in 1954/5 with East Lancs bodies. Nos are : 48,47,49,45 & 40. The last two on the right are slightly different - from the 1955 trio. Unusual vehicles for a municipality - they must have been some of the last half cab single deckers left operating.

La plataforma terminará su construcción en 2013. Con una potencia de 300 MW, proporcionará electricidad limpia para 153 000 hogares y evitará la emisión de 185 000 t anuales de CO 2, un total de 4 millones de t durante su vida útil.
El proyecto de 1200 millones de inversión, ocupará un área de 800 hectáreas y generará empleo para 300 operarios.
Actualmente, la plataforma tiene cinco plantas en operación (Sevilla PV, Casaquemada, PS10 , PS20 y Solnova 1) inyectando energía a la red y otras dos plantas en construcción (Solnova 3 y Solnova 4).
La PS20, la segunda planta comercial de torre del mundo, incorpora avances tecnológicos muy importantes, desarrollados por Abengoa Solar, respecto a la primera torre, la PS10: un receptor con más eficiencia, y diversas mejoras en los sistemas de control y operación, y en el sistema de almacenamiento térmico de energía.
Con 20 megavatios de potencia, el doble que la PS10, la nueva central solar PS20 producirá la energía limpia suficiente para alimentar a 10 000 hogares, y evitará la emisión a la atmósfera de aproximadamente 12 000 toneladas de CO 2 . PS20 está formada por un campo solar de 1 255 heliostatos, diseñados por Abengoa Solar. Cada heliostato de 120 metros cuadrados de superficie refleja la radiación solar que reciben sobre el receptor situado en la torre de 165 metros de altura produciendo el vapor que permite la generación de electricidad en la turbina.

The attractive lines of the Burlingham bodies can be apreciated in this view of Nos. 87 & 88 inside Mallard Rd.Depot in Bournemouth on 25/1/69. There were only three of these in the class - and ALL have been preserved!
Burnley ran fourteen of these late half-cab single deckers of which , I believe, seven have been preserved! Here are Nos.46 and 42 from 1954 with East Lancs bodies, at the depot on 8/5/71.
