a capture that join prints we found in the heart of the Algerian desert in Tamenrasset with the glow of the milky way
Hugo Strange was obsessed with human perfection, and in the pursuit of creating perfect human beings he unmeaningfully created giant mindless minions. Needing to further his research, Hugo used these minions to rob a string banks. This is when he first saw Batman at work, fighting these monstrous creatures. His form and how he was able to defeat the men, he was perfect. Hugo then became obsessed with learning who the Batman was, and he eventually found out. He wanted to become The Batman so he became a psychiatrist at a hospital made for Gothams wealthy individuals, and put Bruce in a drug induced coma. With help, Hugo became The Batman. Strange was meant to be Batmans main adversary, even before the Joker and he continues to be one of the most interesting of the rogue gallery. You can own your own Hugo Strange if you follow the link below. His head and body were designed by me and printed directly onto the figure, he also comes with a hand painted bloody batarang and a syringe.

Storms were already firing in in Gosper county, and they were moving slow... Really slow about 5-10mph to the south southeast. I had other familiar storm chasers down in the Cambridge area. They had some incredible streaming video with excellent rotation.
I wasn't feeling the best but anxious due to the storms. The feeling overtook me and I was off. Its about an hour drive to the southwest from Kearney. I was in for a treat. Storms were now forming in southern Dawson county and with the sunset, I got some incredible colors to pop!

after such a nice day, some sunday afternoon art instead of sunday afternoon work! I'll have to pay for it by getting up in the dark tomorrow morning though, to get some things done...
My husband's family collaborates on quilts for new babies. I love the way Allie's turned out.
This has gotten a ton of use already. Little Alice loves to do her tummy time and rooooollllll around on it. Every time I wanted to photograph it (five or 6 months or so), it was in the laundry!

This quilt top has great I Spy potential: foxes, whales, bicycles, toasters, scissors, etc. The 3" hexies and equilateral triangles were super easy to cut using Marti Michell acrylic templates.

If you were never allowed to blow bubbles in your milkshake, I recommend this art activity!
into 5 or six vessels ( jars, yoghurt pots, plastic cups, etc) mix water and a little liquid soap with some paint, fill to around a third. Pop a plastic straw into a chosen colour and blow until bubbles reach over the top, forming a dome, place paper on top to get a print of the bubbles then do it all again, overlapping the shapes until you fill the page with colours :)
Hand drawn measured drawing, scanned and edited using illustrator, hopefully will be screen printed :-)
Printed analog photography + ink and printed digital photography + stitched thread + red wine + gold marker, scanned together and edited in Photoshop
So half the prints came in today and as we tried to fix the problem of them being on the tight side, they ended up coming out too loose. The next Mega-HD prints should come in within a few days and so should the Hyper-HD prints.
In order to shorten wait times in the future, we will be ordering parts in advance so they can ship out right after they're ordered.
