Today is an orange day at Color my World Daily and the theme at Crazy Tuesdays is hearts. This is perfect since we have Mr. Teddy Bear and Princess with us to celebrate love and most importantly Happy Teddy Bear Tuesdays !
As we all know by now, Princess and Teddy Bear are very much in love. But like in many relationships, Mr. Teddy Bear is the most romantic one… He loves surprising his Princess with lovely surprises. This week, he decorated his orange apartment with hearts… Hearts are everywhere and the whole decor screams : love !
But Princess was very confused: Valentine’s Day isn’t in March ! Why all those hearts then ? Why decorating for Valentine’s Day one year ahead ? It is way to early !
But for Mr. Teddy Bear everyday is Valentine’s Day when he is with Princess…. and the 2 just kissed under a beautiful red heart.
But I have a meeting this morning and i need my coffee so I will not be able to continue that story … and it is a family friendly Photostream so we will not be able to see what happens after the kiss ;-).

Photographed this week in Sydney in a magical rose garden located along Pretoria Parade, Hornsby, in northern Sydney.

This particular 'Princess' is looking a little extra pink than usual. Normally you see more of a pink & white variegation. So perhaps this is the Barbie edition, flowering here in the Hills District of Sydney, for the current mega Barbie movie!!
Princess de Monaco is a blended hybrid tea rose cultivar bred in France by Marie-Louise Meilland and introduced in 1981. It is dedicated to Princess Grace of Monaco (1929-1982).
Its parents were two hybrid tea cultivars, 'Ambassador' (Meilland, 1977) and the MEGA famous 'Peace' rose (Meilland, 1935).

A pair of Wood Duck was back a few weeks ago but many more showed up this week. While trying to capture the Great Blue Heron, this lady was not far from me but was extremely skittish. So I did not move and hoped for the best through twigs and tree branches.
A cute little attic window jutting out of the roofspace of the Cascade Brewery factory.
It reminded me of "A Little Princess" by Frances Hodgson Burnett, from the far off days of my childhood, watched on my parent's black and white TV set that stood on pointy legs.

The artist was inspired by his eldest daughter born from his first marriage.
She often played in Budapest, wearing a princess costume and a crown made out of newspaper by her father, and at home as well, pretending her bathrobes were a mantle.
This image prompted her father, the artist in the creation of this little statue.

Paulownia tomentosa, common names princess tree empress tree, or foxglove-tree, is a deciduous hardwood tree in the family Paulowniaceae, native to central and western China. It is an extremely fast-growing tree with seeds that disperse readily, and is a persistent exotic invasive species in North America, where it has undergone naturalisation in large areas of the Eastern US. P. tomentosa has also been introduced to Western and Central Europe, and is establishing itself as a naturalised species there as well
