On Saturdays I like to go for a Mikkyo Zen meditation session at Hakone Gardens, a Japanese garden in Saratoga, California. This is a formal photo of the priest, who runs Shingon Mikkyo Kunimiyama Daikokuji America, a non-profit organization offering mindfulness and educational services based on Shingon Mikkyo Philosophy.

I processed a balanced and a soft HDR photo from a RAW exposure, merged them, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate your critical feedback.

This series of images from The Lake District were taken on a hike from Brothers Water to The Priest's Hole Cave and back. It was my first hike of 2020 due to the C-19 disruption. It was great to finally get back out on the hills and mountains of The Lakes.

Just off of FS 1013 on FS 655. The trail head is simple to find. A total of 21 miles past Nordman, Idaho. Takes you on a goregous 7 mile round trip hike to Upper Priest Lake, and through a patch of old growth cedars.

Existing UK public rights of way are often connected together into a 'named' trail, sometimes hundreds of miles long, sometimes quite short. Priest's Way is actually only 3 miles long but conveniently connects the seaside holiday town of Swanage with a small inland Purbeck village, Worth Matravers. Priest's Way is so named because the ancient track goes back to at least the 15th century. The route was taken by a local priest, quite possibly by horse as it is still a bridleway, as he travelled back and forth between the churches in his care.

What a fantastic gig! Last night, I went along to see one of Derby's local bands, Snow Priests

They played some great covers, with songs from Civil Wars to Michael Jackson. Of course, they also have a couple of their own originals, including The Photocopier.

If you are ever in Derby, make sure to check these guys out!

I always read about how difficult of a hike The Priest was on hiking websites around the internet. Turns out if you're at least moderately in shape it's difficult, but doable. It also helps if you don't miss the overlook like I did...ended up going about an extra mile.

My m7b1 priest based on my Sherman chassis. Yes it is a reupload but only because a bunch of my pictures got deleted.

Processed this with a custom preset I titled Roman Nose. I have a normal version, and a light version. It's been fun to develop this and I like the results it gives.

I couldn't get the priest to smile so I told him the one about the Englishman, Irishman and Scotsman ......
