Hello my amazing friends !

Few years ago, we were living in Algeria and there was this guy ( all the Polish community in Algeria was calling him Dziad) buying used stuff from foreigners and selling it to local people. Usually we would go see him once a year, bringing our stuff (and our neighbors stuff) to sell. Dziad was living near the desert and it was always an awesome trip that I was very excited to on go each year… One particular year, my Dad was asked by a friend to bring « something » to sell… since the favour was asked during a Polish party all my Dad could remember was the name of his friend but he could not remember what exactly the item to sell was. It was all wrapped in a huge plastic bag so only by touching it my Dad was convinced it was a huge tent. Of course, being a man he didn’t want to ask his friend and so we went to sell a huge tent. No need to tell that the « huge tent » was a huge selling success and my Dad got a very good price for it. Returning home, my Dad gave his friend the money telling him how his huge tent was an awesome item to sell… My Dad’s friend was very surprised since it wasn’t a tent at all but an inflatable boat… Since this day, I can’t stop thinking about a Touareg man sleeping in a desert, under a very starry sky in his inflatable boat….

Mixed fortunes with the light and the exhaust during the day but it was great to be at the lineside again for mainline steam

Not the right thing to be allergic to!

Utah Railway RSD-15s No. 400, 402, 401, 403, and RSD-12 No. 600 pull a Martin Turn, with a mix of old and new coal hoppers, along the Price River at Kyune, Utah on May 21, 1977.

Seems like everybody's got a price

I wonder how they sleep at night

When the sale comes first

And the truth comes second

Just stop for a minute and smile

I dedicate this image to the men and women who have fought and died for us to enjoy the freedoms that we have today.

Just a “gap filler” pic I used on Instagram, might as well share here too. No editing, ran through Lightroom is all.

My lil home, the Zanzibar Hideaway by Scarlet Creative.

I always seem to gravitate back to using this lil house on a rock.

I don’t know why, apart from it’s so cute.

When I first joined Second Life I believe this was one of the very first houses I purchased, way before PBR, even paid full price for it!

Every time I decorate it, I always think “god I’d live there for real” and then I think about carrying bags and bags of groceries up all those stairs and I say “probably not”

But anyway, when my pic says “photo taken at home” this is where the magic happened.

The entry fee to witnessing sunrise at Takhlakh Lake was being massacred by millions of mosquitoes. It's beautiful but I'll never come back at this time of year.

The price of gas hasn't changed at this station in a long time. It is frozen at 42.9 cents per gallon. The last time I was in Freedom, Wyoming there were two classic pumps here, but one has disappeared.

Our final time seeing this CVYWE, which we had followed all the way east from near Provo. By this time, they had a fresh crew aboard and were bound for Grand Junction, CO. The train is seen passing through the town of Price, just east of Helper.

Only 10 shopping days 'til Christmas....

Ask any Chinese person if they have visceral memories of that sound!

It seems like every day gas prices go up... and up... and up!!
