Day 188.
Sunset at Coqueiro Beach on December 31, 2010.
The end of 2010 at the end of the day.
One of my favorite pictures of my trip!
Once I get permission, full sets of the sessions will be posted.
la foto originale non è mia, ma di gunnarb è stata rielaborata per il PPC group
The original picture is gunnarb's, I just played with it for the Post processing comparison group!
A very active bird I have seen so far, even in hot sunny noon. it has also kept me busy by searching for it, as it keeps on flying flower to flower very fast. I consider this my lucky shot :)
Colorful birds and flowery trees surrounding my uncle's house, Salem.

From aboard the final run of the Coast Starlight's Pacific Parlour Car, a view of Caltrain's Central Maintenance Facility presents itself near downtown San Jose, California. At the south end of the yard, F40PH 911 'San Carlos' sits with a string of bilevels.
To a Chicagoan, Caltrain feels like an alternate-reality Metra, with its named F40PHs, MP36s and gallery cars. Unlike Metra however, Caltrain is looking to the future, with electrification in the works. Electric operation is planned to begin in 2022, using Stadler-built EMUs (and if the rumor mill holds water, ex-Amtrak AEM-7s as reserve power)
