POV seems to give the impression that it is trying to make a fast escape!! St.John's, NL.

Crazy Tuesday theme for this week is "Ant POV" (Ant Point Of View)

The flight back from Vancouver to Toronto is around 5hrs and luck would have it that the entertainment system (and reading lights) were not working in our row. My son we kept busy by view of the mountains and clouds out the window. I took it as a challenge to see how many good compositions I could make confined to the center seat of a 3 seat row of an airplane :-). The following shots are from my P&S - please excuse any quality issues

I love this waterfront home located at the Marina on Lake Pend Oreille in Bayview, Idaho. The subdued background brings out the Dream house foreground. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do....

“Noted authors, similarly, have responded to the artistic potential of photography:

...it does seem to me that Capa has proved beyond all doubt that the camera need not be a cold mechanical device. Like the pen, it is as good as the man who uses it. It can be the extension of mind and heart...”

— John Steinbeck

1. Removes a tool (camera), not a photographer.

2. The choice of tool limits the possibilities.

3. Experience allows him (instrument) less and less to limit their capabilities.

4. The ability to see is given only when the observer allows ...

5. The moment of observation is the real find ...

6. Training and mastering it defies. Training leads to poor imitations of the original.

7. Often the result should ripen, like wine. Although time is the understanding of the mind, therefore it is very speculative.

8. The meaning of all this is the process!

9. Let it be!
