Sometimes I like to fiddle around with old posters. I like to cut out parts of them and I like to clean them up. I like to perhaps change the background or some colors. I like removing text that covers the artwork. I guess it's a way of training myself in Photoshop and not least it's therapeutic. I found this poster while digging through old library stuff. I believe it was purchased when our school was first built in the mid 1960’s.

about this painting: you all know the Ajijic Pier by now from my photographs...... well the tremendous recovery of the Lake and all the family-fishing fun at sunset on the pier was bound to pop up on one of my canvases sooner or later - painting is my occupation, this is how i make my living (((:

It's not that i wanted it's that i had to use Serif font for this school pracitce:P
i guess the concept is quite clear, i took times new roman, i made one page of london times( which is the cause of the existence of this font ) and i placed a story about the font and a small graphic to describe it visualy:).
