This portfolio consist of work that I have been recently creating in my 3D design A-level. I am looking at a personal investigation called Amalgamate. This project is about humans and nature becoming one or what my project more leans to is nature taking over man. I used a range of mediums as well as using a lot of machinery in the workshop. I wanted this portfolio to express my love for nature and experimentation with the human anatomy.

Art School Update: finishing up my third course and the half-way point of my MA in photography at Falmouth University. And as they said on Monty Python: now for something completely different, as I took a bit of an off-ramp from my usual work to create this portfolio. I mashed up Vilém Flusser's (look him up) notion that photographs take the four dimensions of time and space to a two-dimensional space with Gaston Bachelard (look him up, too) observation that a house constitutes a body of images that give us proofs or illusions of stability. The images in this portfolio are all from our farmhouse, attempting to condense more time and space into a single photograph. Each image is actually 100 photos, layered one on top of the other, creating a single-frame movie, in a way, that captures a minute or two of the more than 83 million minutes that this farmhouse has existed.
