this was made for the ECI grad portfolio review, but it also functions as a print test for my final portfolio to send off to the three grad schools. there are six more pieces to go into the final, as well as a writing sample booklet, letter of intent and process booklet.
I had some fabric printed with my red-winged blackbird design at spoonflower.com. It looks awesome and would be excellent for curtains or pillows, but my house is way too neutral-toned for a black/white/red fabric.
So, I found this fabric portfolio pattern (free) on Amy Butler's site and decided to make it. It has pockets inside large enough to hold my postcards and note cards, and some smaller pockets suitable for business cards and stickers.
I just created a new portfolio website using 22 slides. It took all of a few hours to set up and was the best experience I have ever had building a portfolio website. Check out the new site at port.photosbychrismartin.com
Also, if you are a photographer check out the trial at www.22slides.com
My custom/hand made portfolio box, mini resume, business card, prints and interactive CD. I also designed a custom business card & CD holder inside the box. Here&Now was my fake business name at the time as a way to showcase a corporate identity. Done while attending AMTC.
I'm getting some photos together for an portfolio!
But I'm not sure about which ones to pick! I made a set here!
I would very much appreciate it if you would tell me which ones you like, and which ones you don't (and if you think I should add another!)
Thanks! =)

Lisette Portfolio dress (view A). Size 14. Lecien 'My Folklore'.
I again left off the yoke, and bound the neckline with black satin bias.
This fabric has been very patient - it was purchased not long after the Portfolio pattern's release, specifically for this. However, not totally loving it - it looks a bit nightie-like to me.

This is a slideshow of the portfolio that I submitted as an assignment for my graduate school entrance exam.
Portfolios are generally created using Adobe Illustrator. However, since I don't have it and have never used it, I created it using PowerPoint and converted it to PDF.
