To improve security situation in Juba PoC area, UNMISS Police and Military (Chinese, Ethiopian and Nepalese Battalions) sections, UNDSS, UNMAS with support from the PoC site Community Watch Group conducted an integrated search operation in PoC site 3. A number of restricted items, including military and police uniforms, SPLA identity cards, machetes and iron bars, were found and confiscated during the operations. About 25 litres of alcohol were also recovered and destroyed on the spot.
Ao centro do pátio, em substituição do antigo poço, foi erguida uma fonte em pórfiro por Battista del Tadda e Raffaello di Domenico di Polo, sobre a qual foi colocada uma estátua de broze mais antiga, o Putto con delfino, de Andrea del Verrocchio (1476), a qual foi transferida em 1959 para o Terrazzo di Giunone, no segundo andar do palácio, sendo substituída no pátio por uma cópia. Esta pequena estátua estava situada, inicialmente, no jardim da Villa Medicea di Careggi. A água que a alimenta, jorrando das narinas do golfinho, chega dos Jardins do Bóboli graças a um antigo sistema hídrico de condutas.
