Looks like the boys are planning their weekend.
I wonder what's on the calendar?
Our Daily Challenge - January 18, 2019: "Future Obsolescence"
I love my planner. The binder was originally for work, but migrated to home use when Hubby bought replacements a few years ago.
While his might have been trashed, mine was in excellent condition. I now keep it strictly for home use - mostly for planning out and tracking the year's photography, plus dog training, gardening tasks, etc.
I absolutely love it, and credit it for getting me over the finish line for 118 Pictures in 2018 and 100x in 2018 as well.
Alas, the writing's (sorry) on the wall, and sometime in the near or distant future this pencil and paper method of organizing your life will fade into obsolescence.
Aside: I have tried iPhone planners and such and they just don't seem work for me. I guess I like the security of the leather binder in my arms, and enjoy crossing out each day that passes and turning the page.

100x in 2019 : #7 - (Salmon Squares - Gauze)
Another one of the gauze fabrics - this one having shiny satin squares. It's hung over the black velvet, else you'd be able to see right through it.
I like this backdrop, which goes surprising well with the golden tones of the boys fur.
As for the shoot itself, it went without incident - other than a few drool specks landing on my precious planner pages.
Henry struggled to keep my reading glasses on his nose, particularly as I kept asking him to lower his head, but other than that I think it was a success.
I particularly like this denim collar on Toby - it seems to suite him.
I haven't quite figured Toby out yet. Zachary was the smart one, adventuresome, and definitely the rule-breaker (at least for pictures). Henry is ultimately wiser, more stable, and definitely more laid back! And he always junior to Zachary's senior.
The jury is still out on what role Toby will ultimately play in shoots, and even what role Henry will take on without Zachary there.
Toby is, for the moment, quite focused - even intense (at least in pictures). And you can't miss those forehead wrinkles! I'm not sure if those will last, if they will eventually fade along with the crimps in the soft fur on his ears.
His demeanor is somewhere between Zachary and Henry, with Zachary's love of the The Ball coupled with Henry's love of comfort and ability to relax. Toby is a quick student, having more desire to please than Henry but being less frantic about it than Zachary.
Stay tuned!

Altocumulus clouds have several patchy white or gray layers, and seem to be made up of many small rows of fluffy ripples. They are lower than cirrus clouds, but still quite high. They are made of liquid water, but they don’t often produce rain.
Tijdens de 2e dag van de railmuseumsafari reed de plan U 151 van de stichting 2454 CREW richting de loods van Spoorijzer in Roosendaal
I seen this little guy run across my desk and hide behind my photo frame. I quickly managed to catch him and had no choice but to shoot at ISO 10,000 just to be able to capture him without blur. I let him go outside before I got a model release for him, hope he doesn't mind :P
Amtrak Empire Builder backing onto the track it will load from, about 30 minutes prior to departure. Above it is Randolph St. Also above it, is the corporate headquarters for Boeing.
We were gonna drive across the country,
live in Spain or Italy
and we were gonna climb to the top of the Eiffel tower
and stay up all night for the meteor showers...
These days I just want time to past very fast
this was in the subway, underneath a peeled-back advertisement panel. I have no idea what it's on about, but it looks pretty cool.
66069 drifts along the shores of the River Severn near Lydney with the Corby to Margam steel coil flats.
The original plan for my day was to recci the Portbury line and grab a shot of the Stoke Gifford to Portbury coal facility. This was cancelled with 1 1/2 hours notice, nice ! so what to do ?
Caldicot maybe. Not a very photogenic location or maybe Sharpness, one of my favourite spots. A quick look at RTT saw three booked freights in the system that might make it to Sharpness before the sun moved into the wrong position. Perfect, Sharpness it is.
In reality only one came when the sun was in the right position, this shot was just about ok but some of the wagons are in partial shade.
Still....cant have it al my own way and this was much better than going home empty handed.
COVID cancellations
It’s an uncertain world. Whenever I commit to plans, there’s a part of me that expects it to be canceled due to COVID.
The past two years have made me even more comfortable with flexible plans. I’ve also grown to appreciate the slower pace. Sometimes it takes a pandemic to appreciate a walk in the winter sunshine and the simple joy of watching a stick wash through a flooded culvert.
Sweater, Minkpink (consignment). Tank, Stella Laguna Beach (consignment). Skirt, Urban Coco. Boots, Corral.
This is what we hope to have once it's finished.
And as every project must have it's trials one of the three closeout doors is, upon closer inspection, a slightly different color. ARGG! Hopefully we will be able to adjust it to more closely match the other 2.
I know many people have already used a similar combination, but so many people have it's impossible to give credit to the original owner.
The head is from Mighty Micros Magneto. It is the closest possible option.
The torso is from Venom. Do I need to explain this?

Plao. God of planning. He is always thinking about monumental constructions and ordering pieces to be able to carry them out. These projects are always at the limit of budget and time. His hourglass shows the time left for the beginning of any exhibition or convention that humans have programmed. Fans who follow their teachings may end bankrupted if they are not careful.
The gods of the Lego (or maybe it's "the gods of the Legos"?... never mind) have existed since the beginning of time when everything was black or dark gray but they have not had work until the middle of the 20th century. Now they help and inspire thousands of fans in their task of building with small pieces of plastic.
The gods of the Lego:
Crato. God of creativity
Plao. God of planning
Lovellia. Goddess of beauty
Storos. God of storage and order
Joyo. Goddess of the play
Loso. Demon of the lost pieces
Roko. Demon of the broken builds

Plao. Los dioses del Lego (2)
Plao.
Crato. Dios de la creatividad
Plao. Dios de la planificación
Lovellia. Diosa de la belleza
Storos. Dios del almacenamiento y el orden
Joyo. Diosa del juego
Loso. Demonio de las piezas perdidas
Roko. Demonio de las construcciones rotas
Tri-colored Heron feeding on menhaden on Horsepen Bayou. Unusual in that the first strike apparently missed but instead of hitting reset, the bird pursued its target until almost its whole body was submerged. Came up with the fish and never lost its grip on the pole.

The remnants of the Coryton refinery and tank farms making way for storage and distribution facilities. Napoleon supposedly called the British a nation of shopkeepers. Nowadays it seems we’re a nation of delivery drivers.

With John there is always a plan of attack. While on our way to La Junta, Colorado we made a brief stop in Garden City, Kansas to see what we could see. Upon arrival at the BNSF main, we were greeted by a local train with some former ATSF/BN equipment. Here, John and I strategize our next move in the often boardgame-like hobby of railfanning.
In addition to the Santa Fe caboose, note the ex-BN GP in John's mirror.
Plan V EMU 411 in Rotterdam Centraal, 15 June 2004. By that time, the trainset was already out of service for a few months and used for training purposes.

T'was an honor to shoot with the amazing Cameron again the other day!! Even though there was the matter of an almost-flat tire and a crazy sudden downpour and my general stupidity, ALL the fun was had :)
Also sorry this took me so long; I'm pretty much a sloth with the ability to think abstractly and use photoshop. Whatever, COME AT ME.
Oh oh oh, made another before & after! Look at me, making good habits sort of.
