PKB and I decided to walk from Gwithian to Zennor... mad idea! As we left St Ives (ok we cheated a teeny bit and got the train from Lelant Saltings to St Ives to compensate for having to walk all the way up the Hayle estuary) I opened the book on the coastal path and read that this was one of the hardest stretches of the SW Coast Path - they were not kidding! Not so much a path, more scrambling up and down huge boulders hoping not to plunge to a rocky and watery death below...

Never has a pint of Burrow Hill cider in the Tinners Arms tasted so sweet... well actaully 3 pints of cider and a pint of coke. I took alternate slugs - cider, coke, cider, coke.

My wife decided it was a bit to warm in the backyard the other day...
