After looking at the PMG combat arena thread I decided that, since everyone seems to have one, I needed a .6 custom pistol. Proud of this myself, also proud of the fact I can't see any/many jpeg conversion moving parts errors :).

Up on my side, where it is felt
I pack a little pistol on my pistol belt
I think it might be fear
Of the world and the way it makes you feel afraid
Under the skin, against the skull
They put a little chip so that they know it all
I think I might be scared
Of the world and the way it makes you feel afraid
And how it gets in the way
And now I want brimstone in my garden
I want roses set on fire
And I, well I want what’s best for me
And I, I think I know just what that means
Just what that means
Today I coo, today I caw
I have a pistol party and I kill ‘em all
I think I might be scared
Of the man and the men with their hands inside
And the women, oh, the women all they do is cry
And I, well I lose my mind
And now I found brimstone in my garden
I found roses set on fire
And I found Jesus, what a liar
So I trade licks with Muddy Waters
And I, well I found what’s best for me
And now I see no tragedy
And I, I found a burning rose
And now I won’t be packing little pistols
No, no, no more

Oh, she kicked out my windshield/
And she hit me over the head.
She cussed and cried, and said I lied/
And she wished that I was dead.
Oh, lay that pistol down, babe.
Lay that pistol down.
Pistol packin’ mama,
You gotta lay that pistol down.
Was trying some stuff out. Not sure if I like it, but it's good enough to post.

Standard combat pistol used by the Imperial Army. Uses a new tube magazine system that loads from the front. Due to it's function as a self-defence pistol, it has limited ammo, but the hitting power is exceptional.
I've never been particularly good at pistol mods, but wanted to try again. This is the result.
Some credit goes to Jake. I got the idea to use rail pieces as lens' covers from him.

I am participating in this year's Artlantis Arts and Music Festival sponsored by Beep Beep Gallery. Alongside selling reproductions of some drawings and collages, I wanted to do something unique and special, something site-specific I guess you could say.
So I made weapons. Many weapons.
This is one of the weapons I made. 1 out of an edition of 5. If you live near or around Atlanta, please try to come to Artlantis this weekend. Otherwise, keep an eye on my etsy after this weekend, as that's where I'll be offering any left over weapons.

I actually planned to redo these all the way before my accident, and only after regaining my mojo this weekend I was finally able to get them out of the way.
I still have no idea how they get so dusty so quick. I try and dust them off as good I can before going into photography, and yet there's still tons. It probably doesn't help that this is the first time I tried using my macro lens for these kinds of shots.

Grand Dad had this old Iver-Johnson .22 revolver as long as I can remember. He taught me how to shoot it at an age that would probably seem inappropriate today. I'd tag along with him on squirrel hunts when I was too small to handle a rifle or shotgun. He'd let me shoot this pistol into a nest and if a squirrel ran out, he'd take it with his old double-barreled Stevens 20 gauge. Fond memories.
