No it's not the boat from The Beatles' "Yellow Submarine" - it's an underwater exploratory vehicle (a manned submersible) constructed in 1969.
This photograph was taken at Sealife in Weymouth - I think it's a replica.

PISCES (Pontoon for In-situ Characterization of Environmental Systems), shown here at the National Great Rivers Field station, is a lightweight pontoon platform that supports water quality and meteorological sampling. The device will be deployed as part of the National Great Rivers Research and Education Center's long term river monitoring research program, GREON (Great Rivers Ecological Observation Network). The device will be the first water sampling platform to be used in a larger network of water quality platforms on the Mississippi River and large rivers around the world. Photo by S. This is the fourth picture of my doll advent calendar. Today I'm showing my newest doll - a Little Dal Pisces. Her name is Sumire. Isn't she lovely? She has one of the prettiest face-ups I've ever seen on a Little Dal and her hair has a lovely shade of light purple.

A big group of fish, here in the scanned photo they look all black, in the paper photo al least one can see the tails, fins are blue, but even that didn't captured the true beauty of seen them live.
The body is black, a deep black, and fins and tails a vibrant blue. And in group like that really a good spectacle to see them swim by all around, up and down.
Is really fun to see them in groups, they are pretty enough when you see one, and in group is amazing.
Evil Jessica wonders, what they would taste like. yummi perhaps.
Kisses
According to Astrology, I am an Aries. However, as this photo clearly shows, the Sun is in the constellation of Pisces at the time of my birth.
As part of my Final Major Project at College I chose the theme of Zodiac, and the Horoscope Constellations of the sky as my chosen pathway of interpretting my theme.
Each of my images includes an overlay of the collection of stars for the given zodiac sign in which I have been led to believe as it appears in the night sky.

A piece by Jason Hackenworth commissioned for the 2013 Edinburgh International Science Festival and suspended in the main hall of the National Museum Of Scotland.
I first learnt about it on the excellent Colossal blog, and of course it was probably photographed by everyone in Edinburgh over the Easter break. Still, I really couldn't help myself.
The fish have had enough. Being constantly bullied, harassed, and eaten by sharks has driven them to roll up their sleeves and develop the technology to deal with this menace once and for all. Their solution? P.I.S.C.E.S.: Prototype Invention Specifically Constructed to Eliminate Sharks! With a crew of three, a giant claw, giant harpoon, torpedoes, spear-rockets, and machine-harpoons, the P.I.S.C.E.S. is ready to send these Deep Blue Scoundrels packing for good!
Ladies and gentlemen I bring you the first creation of what I hope will be a new building theme: FISHTECH.
