The Dugald Stewart Monument on Calton Hill memorializes Scottish philosopher Dugald Stewart who lived from 1753 - 1828. Designed by William Henry Playfair, the monument was built in 1831 and was inspired by the Choragic Monument of Lysicrates in Athens.

Either I missed the point of all of the questions or it was a really, really easy exam. Likelihood is I have still not gotten a high enough grade, but hey. If all else fails I will drive taxis for a living. Or maybe it was just because I was in a room completely on my own with no distractions at all, and I have the practice of an extra year. I do not know. But I do know that my lungs ache so much, and I am simply so tired.
Did you know that Jeremy Bentham had two walking sticks called Dapple and Dobbin; a “sacred teapot” named Dickey and occasionally shared his bed with a pet pig and a cat named The Reverend John Langhorne? I love philosophers sometimes.
I think this is my favorite bar name, ever.

„The ink shone brightly on the paper for a second and then, as though it was being sucked into the page, vanished. Excited, Harry loaded up his quill a second time and wrote, ‘My name is Harry Potter.’
The words shone momentarily on the page and they too sank without trace. Then, at last, something happened.
Oozing back out of the page, in his very own ink, came words Harry had never written.
‘Hello, Harry Potter. My name is Tom Riddle. How did you come by my diary?““
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Chapter 13

I chose to split this scene into Harry sitting at his desk writing into the diary and the memory that he gets pulled in. Thats a bit more interesting than just one big black and white vignette.
There’s really not much else to say to it I guess.

This series is obviously heavily inspired by my friend Marcel who did the inspirational undertaking of doing a series of daily builds covering Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone last month. Please follow him as his work is amazing and deserves way more views than it currently has!
Thank you, Marcel, for allowing me to continue what you started. You are indeed a wizard.
Harry heard the high voice shriek as he too yelled his best hope to the heavens, pointing Draco’s wand:
“Avada Kedavra!”
“Expelliarmus!”
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Chapter 36: The Flaw in the Plan

The long-awaited showdown comes to end, with Voldemort’s own hubris being his final un-doing. Fitting that it was Draco’s wand in the end that helped save everyone, eh?
I know it’s not a big build but I thought it would be cooler to focus on the spells rather than architecture or flooring or something, since this is, after all, the climactic battle of the series.
Stay tuned for the final vignette tomorrow!
