It’s all a matter of perspective.

Took some artistic licence with this one. I guess it's ok.

"The redwoods, once seen, leave a mark or create a vision that stays with you always. No one has ever successfully painted or photographed a redwood tree. The feeling they produce is not transferable. From them comes silence and awe. It's not only their unbelievable stature, nor the color which seems to shift and vary under your eyes, no, they are not like any trees we know, they are ambassadors from another time." ~ John Steinbeck

A little forced perspective fun.

This up-close-and-personal view of Clyde G12C 1204 shows the interesting way the G&W logo has been applied to the short hood to comply with the stringent corporate image of owner Genesee & Wyoming.

At the time, 1204 was joined by 850, 873 and 905 as they assembled their train of empty grain hoppers at Port Lincoln. At the time this was uploaded, the fate of the two former West Australian A Class is unclear - the closure of the grain railway putting them well and truly out of work.

To have a perspective on one's child is a great thing.

To have a perspective on oneself is proving elusive.

Not sure what to name this. Doodle number "X," perhaps?

Media was traditional pencil and pen on paper. In this one I figured out how to find midpoints and centers of shapes, as well as project shadows.

Hopefully I can make time to start a legitimate piece, rather than middle-of-math-class doodles.
