I've been working on flame control. These closed links are just 3mm each in Argentium 935 silver. They originated as 18 gauge half-round wire. The accomplishment feels great. Time consuming yes. Yet I like knowing I can.
Not an original idea by any stretch.. I remember Danny aka Catch-light doing a similar shot in his 366 a few years ago. If you want an inspiring collection of photos to look at I urge you to take a look at his stream.
Sometimes everything turns completely different if one only takes the effort to use another perspective.
The rules against photography in the galleries led me to seek other avenues of photographic expression in the National Gallery of Canada. I focused on architecture, colour, tone and perspective. To add an element of human interest I tried to include people where possible.
The trailing water and the stones became nice foreground elements with the Reflected pillars and the perspective lines leading out to pillars that promise yet another set of perspective lines.
Its rare now that I post 3 photo's all at once as I feel the views are much higher when done singular...however through advice I give you these 3 different perspectives of Redhayes New Bridge in Exeter Devon that over looks the M5 motorway.....this motorway was closed during the night for 2 nights allowing cranes to be used to haul the massive structure into place in 2011...again I suppose we can say its the new technology of today....hope you enjoy...Smirf
