la vita intorno ...

Taken on SLR film - off angled side shot of subject's face with a blur of distraction and business behind her

The morning glass of water for the Old Monk at sunrise and is not Old monk (Rum) on water at sunset ;-)

Some tips from Carson Kressley's new show "Look Good Naked" work for businesses too. Seriously.

Between the boards greetings.

In my second year of University studies, I embarked on experimenting with light and long exposure - the intent derived from the same stem I had started with whilst at college. I was working with the intent of letting others see what they could relate to within the image or lines in this case.

A simple twist can change everything.

Starless night, and a full moon in the sky. Stuff that horror movies are made of. Or even romantic comedies, for that matter. Strange how two completely different genres portray the same thing is such completely different ways.

View on black.

sometimes you see things that weren't there before.

ofcourse, you can't really know whether thats true.

*Loud, Busy distractive environment.

*Alcohol beverages may appeal and lead to unproductive learning and behaviour.

*May lead to disruption from friends, family, cigarette smoke and rude customers

I took this photograph to make it seem like my subject was wearing a big green hat. This photograph is interesting to me because the bright green of the umbrella demands a lot of attention. I am trying to convey a feeling of frustration in way. She is trying to adjust her giant hat to cover the sun because she really dislikes the heat. This shot was taken at a shutter speed of 1/125, aperture of f/14 and ISO of 200.
