For more than 10 years, the Festival of Lights in Berlin in October has been showing a world of creative lighting. Artists from many countries present luminous projections as well as light installations. Every year more than two million people visit the fantastically illuminated landmarks, monuments and squares and illuminate Berlin.
Seit mehr als 10 Jahren zeigt das Festival of Lights in Berlin im Oktober eine Welt voller kreativer Lichtkunst. Künstler aus vielen Ländern präsentieren leuchtende Projektionen sowie Lichtinstallationen. Jedes Jahr besuchen über zwei Millionen Menschen die phantasievoll beleuchteten Wahrzeichen, Monumente und Plätze und lassen Berlin aufleuchten.

While watching a different Mountain Hare we noticed this one running down a hill behind us. He stopped for a few seconds before continuing to find cover, allowing me to get this photo showing the Mountain Hare's habitat.
This is one of my favourites from my recent trip up to the Scottish Highlands - mainly for the falling snow in the background!

Urgut is a town in the Samarqand Region of Uzbekistan and the capital of Urgut District. It is known for the grove of plane trees, some of which are more than 1000 years old. Urgut is located in mountainous areas.
Urgutlik (also known as Urguti in Tajik) people are a subgroup of ethnic Uzbeks who track their ancestry to people from a town of Urgut. There are almost 500,000 people who describe themselves as Urgutlik. Urgutlik people frequently use Tajik words in their daily conversation. Majority of the population speak Tajik and Uzbek.
Urguti people are heavily involved in basic mercantile trading in their respective locations and in farming. In the town craftsmanship is also well-known which has been maintained traditionally throughout the centuries.
Urgut's biggest market with varied and relatively inexpensive merchandise attracts folks even from Samarkand, the capital of the Region.
Jidda matsuri is known as one of the three greatest festivals of Kyoto. The festival has been held since 1895 in commemoration of 1,100 years of a capital relocation from Nara to Kyoto in 794. More than 2,000 participants march throughout the central city of Kyoto, by wearing historic and traditional costumes.
I am lucky I could attend the festival this year. I took a bullet train from Tokyo and got Kyoto via Osaka early morning on the day of the festival. I like a feeling when I and people around me wait together for the march coming and smile at each other for beauty around us. :D

I don't have any public pictures of Buddylein with people on it. Just this one from New Year's Day 2019 when we took a wonderful walk despite the rain.
