manifestazioni palio dei 10 comuni MONTAGANANA Il Palio dei 10 Comuni del Montagnanese, comunemente detto Palio di Montagnana, è una manifestazione rievocativa della liberazione della città dal tiranno Ezzelino III da Romano. Dal 1977 la manifestazione si tiene annualmente la prima domenica del mese di settembre rinnovando un'antica tradizione medioevale. La corsa prevede due batterie e una finale, su cavalli montati a pelo di bove dai fantini. Il Giuramento dei Capitani è l'evento che dà inizio al Palio e si tiene circa un mese prima. In concomitanza con la corsa, Montagnana è immersa nel clima medioevale con diverse attività: la Sfilata Storica per le vie cittadine, la Tenzone degli arcieri e dei musici e sbandieratori oltre al suggestivo incendio della Rocca che si tiene la sera precedente la corsaThe Palio of the 10 municipalities of the Montagnana, commonly called Palio of Montagnana, is an event reminiscent of the liberation of the city from the tyrant Ezzelino III da Romano. I can't believe it... I WON!! :) I entered a photography contest for a provincial weather station called "Meteo Media" and I just got notified that I WON with this capture!!!
I can't believe it,,, and I'm so excited!! I took this capture last Fall (as some of view might remember this shot, since I posted it last year, here)
The station contacted me to tell me the great news and that within the month I will be receiving a small parcel with a few winning gifts. My capture will be either used or exposed on their website or exposed on their TV station. :-))) OMG... so happy!! My first real win in photography!! How fantastic is this!!

In the frightening dark and surroundings like threatening lights, graffiti written walls and pronged agave americana cactus. But, people enjoy cycling, friends are gathered and talk happily, dogs are well fed and relaxed. Everything under a mild climate and below a usually clear and bright sky.

Vista hacia el oeste de esta playa que comparten los municipios de Ruiloba y Alfoz de Lloredo, en el oeste de Cantabria.
Un arenal muy limpio y cuidado, en un entorno residencial de gran belleza paisajística, con pleno respeto a su estado natural, lejos de la invasión ladrillera.
El verano pasó y nos vemos abocados a los dias cortos otoñales e invernales, ahora que las temperaturas bajan , nos acordamos mas de los gratos dias de playa.

After closing the tram network in the mid-1960s, the people of Istanbul thought this old fashioned method of smooth city traveling had been removed, and transport within the city would move faster than before, but this proved false some years later. The uncontrolled increase of petrol vehicles such as buses, taxis, and private cars started choking the streets of Istanbul.
Around 1990, the Istiklal Caddesi became a pedestrian zone, and the tram was restored and revived in 1990, in the form of the Taksim-Tünel Nostalgia Tramway. After a 24-year absence, trams returned to Istanbul. The length of the line is 1.64 kilometers
