In my garden.
Penelope is my favourite rose. Semi double pink flowers and a beautiful fragrance.
She had got so woody that I had to take some drastic action with the pruning saw back in March. I’m relieved to say she responded well and has bounced back with a vengeance.

Here we have Lily and Chloe with Penelope who is now allowed outside. I liked the low sun creating halos around them.
Penelope is the prettiest of the seven goats at Belmont Audubon Habitat, but is shy and tricky to photograph. She doesn't like pats, but loves to be brushed.

This is Penelope and her sister Abigail is below in the comments. I picked them up this morning from a lady who found them about 2 weeks ago and has been caring for them ever since. She has been feeding them dog food and homo milk and though they look healthy and seem to be thriving I think I will convert them to proper kitten food and milk. The lady thinks they are about 3 weeks old, but I believe they are closer to 5 weeks old. They were just laying by the side of the road with no mother around and they were trying to walk but not really able to yet. She has dogs and small children and she asked the vets if they knew anyone who could take them. The vet technician asked me yesterday and I said yes. I picked them up this morning.
The only way I can currently tell them apart is Abby has a long white sock on her one front leg.

One look and I knew she was a "Penelope". So meet Princess Penelope...yeth I finally have my DD! She's so adorable I had to make her her own top hat too. Why waste time doing senseless things like feeding children when you can cover the house with fabric scraps, wire snippets, glue globs, and blood (from all the self inflicted needle pokes, for example. XD). Add blooming hardenbergia and she feels welcome with her new tribe.
