Die erste Woche!
Die Woche war leider nicht so toll. Trotz gesunder Ernährung geht leider kein Gramm so richtig runter. Das liegt leider auch zum Teil am PCO und der Insulinresistenz.
Warum hemmt PCO die Fettreduktion?
Leider ist es so, dass durch die Insulinresistenz alles an Fett eingelagert wird. Die Verteilung des Insulins funktioniert nicht richtig. Die Überbrückung ist nicht da. Der Körper denkt, dass er dieses Fett noch gebrauchen kann. Da er nicht weiß, wann er das nächste Mal wieder etwas bekommt.

Due to my PCOS condition, weight loss is HARD, but I'm trying.
This is my new scale, since my old one, while awesome and said I weighed only 214, was sadly wrong.

I was happy to drop the first ball and present the trophy at the PCO Ball Hockey Tournament in support of the Government of Canada Workplace Charitable Campaign (GCWCC). Congratulations to the winning team, and thank you to all participants for your valuable contribution to the GCWCC. What a great example of helping others, while staying active too.

J’ai été très heureux de faire la mise aux jeux et de présenter la coupe à l’occasion du tournoi de hockey bottine pour la Campagne de charité en milieu de travail du gouvernement du Canada (CCMTGC). J’aimerais offrir mes félicitations à l’équipe gagnante et remercier tous les participants d’avoir contribué à la CCMTGC. Voilà un bel exemple d’une activité qui nous permet d’aider les autres tout en étant actif.

The event is hosted by Omega Phi Alpha National Service Sorority and benefits PCOS Challenge, Inc., the country's leading 501(c)(3) public charity advancing the cause for women and girls with PCOS. Proceeds from the Bolt for PCOS event go toward PCOS education, health screenings, grants, research and support programs, as well as increasing awareness and public support for those with the condition.
