My Christmas gift to myself this year is a Nikkor 45mm Tilt/Shift PC-E prime. I just got the package and my little helper helped open the package and put the lens onto a camera. So I naturally pointed it at her and took my first frame.
Of course, this image does not take advantage of the lens' full bag of tricks with tilting and shifting, this will come later. I love the "miniature" photos I've made with my other tilt/shift lens (an 85mm Nikkor) and I can't wait to see what I come up with using this lens
Got up this morning to 23 degrees F temperature! Just lit a fire in the fireplace. Hello to all of our friends! Just wanted to say hello and hope that all are well and safe. We are experiencing this winter storm of January 2025 here in South Texas this week. I know that many of you are familiar with cold winter weather, but we (Sandi and me) don't care for it at all. Sounds odd, but I have always felt that I was lucky in a way to have gone through the war in Viet Nam in the hot humid jungles rather that the Winter agony of the blizzard conditions of WWII and Korea. I never expected this cold in South Texas ( or practically Northern Mexico). Again, I hope that you are all well and safe and don't experience any difficulty during this time, and want you to all know that we think of you often and wish you all the best in the New Year!

This highly original Cambridge registered Traveller has had just 3 lady owners from new and has covered just over 41,000 miles backed up by MOTs going back to 1979. In the current ladies ownership for 25 years and purchased from a friend in the same village who was only the second owner, the original lady owner hailing from the Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire area. Bearing a few battle scars from its 49 year campaign on the road the Trafalgar Blue 'Moggie' is still pressed into use for shopping jaunts into Ely. Superbly original both inside and out and accompanied by tools including the crank handle, original drivers handbook, bills and receipts from the current ownership, V5C document and an imposing ceramic model Traveller! A genuine, honest and local car that deserves continued use and preservation."

"Imported into the UK in 2005, this 216 BHP Euro E30. In around 2007 the engine was replaced with a sinmilar 216 BHP unit and the recorded Kilometers were changed to that of this lower mileage engine. The recorded kilometers now are 162,000 km's and it is thought that the correct reading should be circa 202,000 km's. Options include sunroof and black leather interior. The car is fitted with 48mm throttle bodies, AC Schnitzer springs, after-market exhaust system and 16" cross spoke BBS alloy wheels as fitted to the sport evo models. The history file contains MoT's, MoT history print-out from 2006 and a large quantity of invoices, many of which are local BMW agent, dating from 2006.

A very early example of the Leyland Daf models, as I have seen G reg Freight Rovers before.... Only showing as first registered in 2003 though, perhaps this was used by the military beforehand, considering the colour?
