I was trying to figure out where exactly the detector was located in the NR-950 but I could not find a diagram, photo, or schematics of the inside, so I oppened it up.
The detection tube is a J321 Geiger Muller tube, and it is mounted on a PCB labeled "J305", so likely a PCB board intended for a previous version of the tube.
