Today, several friends and I drove to the New York Botanical Garden to see the Dale Chihuly exhibit.
I hope he pays his agent a lot b/c he is everywhere!!!
For me, the fun of Chihuly is the "innards".
This is part of a large "tree" that sits outside the Conservatory.
Off Thursday to go back to the Adirondacks.

Patience and skill pay off for this Black Bear. During the fall and winter months when the salmon migrate up the creeks and rivers to reproduce, the Black Bears take advantage. The Black Bears fatten up on salmon which helps them gain the needed weight for the colder winter months.
It is estimated there are more than 120,000 Black Bears in British Columbia and over 7,000 Black Bears on Vancouver Island, making it one of the more dense places in the world for this bear population.
Note, photo taken in a very dark environment, so I had to do some editing to get rid of noise due to high iso. Not the best image quality, but I like the story telling element I was able to capture.

De straat is genoemd naar koning Willem II, die graag in Tilburg verbleef en er een paleis heeft laten bouwen. Het paleis is nu in gebruik als stadhuis en wordt vooral gebruikt voor de raadsvergaderingen, het sluiten van huwelijken en voor representatieve doeleinden.

The street is named after King Willem II, who liked to stay in Tilburg and had a palace built there. The palace is now used as a town hall and is mainly used for council meetings, marriage ceremonies and for representative purposes.
