Well lit path showing the way through the woods

This image was captured while I was out and about in the ole Jeep, weaving through cornfields, on a trip to the town of Mt. Orab, OH.

I drive this route often, and for reasons I can't explain, this small section of Ohio farmland continually yields truly beautiful skyscapes and wonderful cloud formations that the firmament just a few miles away never seems to match. I can't figure it, so I just enjoy it and try to always have the camera with me when traveling through this area.

A very rainy and cloudy week in Moab, Utah - still images must be made and the awe inspired by these giant monolithic formations is not reduced. Please comment if you'd like to share your experience at Moab.

Oriente Station, Lisbon, Architecte : Santiago Calatrava

On the descent of Beinn na Cro on the Isle of Skye, I happened to turn around to see how far we had come - and was amazed by this fabulous cloud arching in the sky. Desperately seeking a foreground, but the slopes of Beinn na Cro are devoid of anything useful, so had to settle for the path we had just come down (and was reminded of an old Led Zeppelin song). It was easily one of the best skies I have seen here, shot as a three-shot pano that really doesn't do the cloud justice.

The melting of the snow is well under way here. It is among the longest and coldest winters these past 8 months however, it should be gone for the arrival of summer. Maybe even Spring

Love to see the leaves gradually transition to shades of yellow, orange and the occasional red as we move deeper into autumn in northern Minnesota.
