This was the beautiful sight that greeted me as I walked a path at Winterthur Gardens near Wilmington, Delaware.

This Ariyan Eightfold Path, that is to say: Right view, right aim, right speech, right action, right living, right effort, right mindfulness, right contemplation. Buddha

You're never on the wrong path. Sometimes you're

on the right path looking at things the wrong way.

path into the fear....

Happy Tuesday, stay warm and healthy all!

I took a trip with my cousin to the east coast of Scotland, this is the pier at St Monans, Fife. Along the way we took in some sights including Inverkeithing Bay, Weymss Coves and the Standing Stones of Lundin. We arrived at St Monans just in time for sunset. The sun set and we were blessed with a good half an hour of pinky atmosphere. I hope you have a good Sunday.

There is a difference between knowing the path and walking the path

Mal wieder konnte ich mich schlecht zwischen der Farb- und SW-Variante entscheiden. Vielleicht werde ich auch die SW-Version noch posten. Entstanden ist das Foto am Sella Joch mit Blick auf den Langkofel.

Once again I couldn't decide between the color version and the black and white one. Maybe I'll post the SW version too. The photo was taken on the 'Sella Joch' with a view of the Langkofel.

Wish you kind times always!

*** Walking alone takes courage

For it feels safer having people around

It feels nicer being surrounded by a friendly crowd, being popular.

Most of us want to be loved

Some work hard on being hated.

But walking your own path

Means burning your boats, your bridges

Sailing unsafe waters.

Independence is one high form of courage

Difference is one high form of strength.

*** Dedicated to those who are different,

do not obey,

do not conform,

do not accept,

do not bend,

do not break,

do not kneel,

do not follow,

do not capitulate,

declare YOUR independence, before it is taken from you.

My last minute entry to this week's Mastermind contest

Life is different every day... sometimes good, sometimes "bad"... we are happy, we are sad...

There will always be things and even people who will fall through the cracks... We have to acknowledge this and accept it, there is nothing we can change in the past... in order to make the cracks smaller we should let the past teach us how to see the present.

I like to use the morning to set a goal for the day... the path to achieve it is the adventure. Some paths are easy, others not so much, but in the end they should all be meaningful.

Our first snow of the winter. It has been so warm that even the birds thought it was spring. This Image is a repeat of a shot taken in an Autumn period.
