Another of Red's little buddies, Patches pictured with Red's Chuck It ball, he was obsessed bless him.
Patch has patchwork sides and a body made out of a cashmere sweater.

My Vet occasionally takes in dogs, either found stray or owner-surrendered. I try to take pictures of the animals up for adoptions, as it is proven that better pictures go a long way towards swift adoption.
As of the posting of this (January 30, 2016), Patches and Rascal here are up for adoption as a pair. Contact Kingston Road Animal Hospital in East York, Toronto.

Some TOSRV (Tour of the Scioto River Valley) patches from the golden age. The 1967 TOSRV was part of the Columbus AYH council Rally Series, and “TOSRV” doesn’t appear on that patch. It was the first TOSRV (and my first, aged 11) to exceed 200 riders, unprecedented in post WWII American cycling. By the 80s the route was clogged with 6000+ riders. Tour Director Charlie Pace inspired armies of volunteers to keep things running smoothly. Greg Siple designed nearly all of these patches, though father Charles Siple weighed in on round 1995 patch (upper left). I rode it 42 times, so not a complete collection.

Beeston station was built in 1847 by the Midland Railway, the single storey station building with its intricate gables is a joy and the later addition of the ridge and furrow awning fits in well with the character of the building, the same cannot be said for the concrete footbridge however.

Alex wanted a Pumpkin Patch last year, but we only had a few pumpkins. So, as a result of my "thrifting" this year we've been able to create this. Alex spends practically every minute of her weekends in her Pumpkin Patch.
As a Pewaukee city worker patches a pothole, CN L504 creeps down the siding at the north end of Duplainville with EJ&E 703 second out.
These photos were taken back in March 2012. I am just catching up with them. I had started to put up our trip to Northland but for some reason never got them all up.
We had a lunch stop at Kaitaia.
Kaitaia is a town in the Far North District of New Zealand, at the base of the Aupouri Peninsula, about 160 km northwest of Whangarei. It is the last major settlement on State Highway 1. Ahipara Bay, the southern end of Ninety Mile Beach, is 5 km west. The main industries are forestry and tourism.Wikipedia
💪
More patches and hatches with the whole crew of Expedition 65. We did two spacecraft relocations (our SpaceX Crew Dragon and Soyuz last week), four spacewalks and some cargo spacecraft came and went too so we got to sign many patches. But then we also sign the Expedition patch. It feels somewhat like Expedition 65 is coming to an end, even if it still goes on for another month, but today and end of October we have new people arriving at the Station, marking the end of spending five months just the seven of us: Megan, Mark, Pyotr, Shane, Aki, Oleg. We are a tight-knit group, we got so much work done and had fun while doing it, Expedition 65 rocks!

Flickr Friday theme Patch. This is a jacket I bought at the race in 1984. Back then a photographers pit pass was a small pin. I saw one photographer that had a dozen pinned to his camera strap. I had two over the years. Couldn't find them for this picture. I had shot pictures for the Indianapolis Star and News when it was still called the Indianapolis Morning Star. the old photographer ,;-)
There is a small patch of fleabane daisies blooming on the edge of a wooded area, in the neighborhood where my wife, and I reside.
A patch of light falls on the forest floor, while a single fern stem reaches up above all around it to make the most of the additional light.
I released Patty Patch Fluffy Coat from her box on Christmas Day. WOW! She's awesome!
I was very curious about her hair. The pictures I've seen of her show a whole range of colors from magenta to orange. It turns out that it is a dark red. I was also interested to see how it is cut, because I've heard people complaining that it is uneven. Yes, it is uneven--it is cut shorter on the sides than at the back, so her curls hang in a nice curve; the effect is quite beautiful. In these pictures, her hair has been washed once with Dawn Platinum, and conditioned briefly with Downy fabric softener.
The snowy birdbath with cardinals was a Christmas gift from my daughter. I love it!

A line of patched former UP SD40M-2s, and one formerly unpatched one sit at Barr yard in Riverdale, IL next to a broken tank car on a flat.
'No mow May' and now end of June with paths cut around the lawn to allow access but the rest has been allowed to 'go bush' ie wild. The patch of lawn I de-turfed in the Spring and scattered wild flower seed around looks really attractive in a nicely disordered way. This is the view from my study upstairs late afternoon.
