Being a parent is a responsibility you must put before your own needs always

My parents in law live in this house - and so did I for a while. Yonghe was once the most densely populated administrative unit on earth, but now it's overtaken by a place in the Philippines. However, as you can see on my adjacent pictures, it's still possible to find quiet places here, without cars and people, and long rides on mountain roads.

Going out to celebrate my parent's 30th wedding anniversary!

I loved everything from Erin Fetherstons Target line, but I couldn't afford any of it, so imagine my surprise when I saw this dress marked down to $11!

Taken in the early 70's...My Mom loved everything about Christmas which made it that much more fun. They are both gone now but the memories will never go away.

A visit home to our new house in Boston.

A parent n humans, a parent is of a child (where "child" refers to offspring, not necessarily age). A biological parent consists of a person whose gamete resulted in a child, a male through his sperm, and a woman through her ovum. Parents are first-degree relatives and have 50% genetic overlap. A woman can also become a parent through surrogacy. However, some parents may not be biologically related to their children. An adoptive parent is one who nurtures and raises the offspring of the biological parents but is not actually biologically related to the child. Children without adoptive parents can be raised by their grandparents or other family members. ~wikipedia.
